Favorite Canon EOS model

This question is aimed at Guylain first, but everyone else who uses BYE is most welcome to respond.

 

What is your favorite model of Canon EOS for use with BYE and what prompts your choice?

 

(My personal favorite is my venerable T2i (550D) for its affordability, ease of use, and ruggedness in the field.)

My favorite is the 600D... but just because it's a cooled CDS600D.

 

Other than that I don't really have a preference.

I like my T5i for its low noise (at least lower than my 1000D), its 18MP sensor size, and the articulated LCD display.

I'd put my 60D up there...  Lower Noise than any but the most recent of the T*i Series; Articulated Screen; True 1:1 Crop Video Mode; Faster Processor-Memory-SD Interface; and Much Better Focusing for Daytime...

 

Only, since some other 60Ds have Bricked, I've been rather cautions about using mine for Long Duration Exposures (only about 2-3K since this potential condition was learned)...

So, I happily use my IR-Modded T2i as my mainstay AP Imager...

BYE still makes it as-good-as any of the OSC CCDs!!

I just love and worsjip my Rebel T1I! also have a T2I but use my T1I for Astro
