BYE EOS 3.1.18 Unhandled Exception

On installing BYE EOS 3.1.18 and clicking on "settings" I get this error:

I've tried reinstalling but no joy. I have no camera connected, just trying out the new version. What do I do?

Did you re-install in a new folder?

Alternatively, please 3.2.0 pre-release.

I am having the same issue. I re-installed the previous version (17) and works find. Downloaded and re-installed again the version 18 without success. What should I do?

This is a 100% percent install/environment issue.

Did you try 3.2.0 in the pre-release section as suggested?

where is pre-release 3.2.0 please also should the download be in programs x64 or just the programs folder (32)

it's a 32 bit app so it will be in the 32 bit folder.

The pre-releases are in the download section (top menu bar) and then select pre-release from the right menu list.

Try doing a full un-install of the existing version, and then install 18 after a reboot. I found that fixed some issues I had.

Hi Guys

          I have just downloaded the pre release, and installed it in the right folder, & seems to be working ok but yet to try it out properly where i live it is constantly cloudy and i get out when i can.

Bruno,

You familiarize yourself with most of the features and try out BYE at the kitchen table, so no need to wait for a clear night for much of what you want to do.
