Question

Just a heads-up for those running the proprietary Nikon to USB. My 810a wouldn't,t connect the other night and after looking at everything and talking to computer guys it looked like my in-camera connection was dead. MAjor Expense?? Found a cell phone cable that is the exact connector and it hooks up well. Ordered new cable and called Nikon. Question was-" leave hooked up or disconnect and rehook every time use it". Man says better to disconnect and rehook gently every time. If hooked up all the time the cable keeps seeing battery power from the camera and will eventually die. May be what happened to me.
