It is not just a 600D with the mirror remove.  The EOS-M is not supported and never will be in its current form, sad but true :(

This camera does not support bulb over USB and it does not have any intervalometer port to use a DSUSB serial cable, so bulb can not be achieved when tethered to a computer.

Housemaster0630,

Your question is for a different camera,. In the future please create a new post for a new question that includes the camera model in the title so that others can find it.

BYE 3.1.18 RC6 includes a version of the EOS SDK that was released in North America in August 2019. That is 13.10.30.0. It does not support the M50. Perhaps it will be supported in the next release. The M50 requires SDK version 13.11.0 or later. Please be patient. Canon does not provide a release schedule and often has widely different release dates for different geographical regions. The BYE developers are in Canada and can only incorporate North American releases of the SDK in their products.

Thanks!

Will there he support for this model?

Try BYE 3.1.18-RC6 in the download pre-release section.

Try to connect your M50.  It won't connect but it will output some numbers in the log file that I need to operate the camera.

For clarity, please start a new thread.

EDIT:  As per astroman133's post, I may have to wait until the SDK is available.

EDIT #2:  There is a new SDK13.11.0 availaible since October 1st.  I'm downloading it now and I will upload 3.1.18.RC7 later today.  Try it your M50 with RC7 then send me the log files at support@otelescope.com and I'll take a look.

Hopefully everything will turn out positive for SDK Support of the M50, however there are a few PC apps which provide Tethered Support of several Canon models but do NOT use the Canon SDK to do so.

Unfortunately, that doesn't indicate that there will ever be SDK Support for such a specific Model.  And BYE is heavily dependent on the Canon SDK...

Hi, any news on EOS-M support? I've been using it with Magic Lantern for long time and this little beast is very good for AP.

Which EOS-M?  The original or the EOS-M / M2 / M3 / M4 / M5 / M6 / M6 Mk II?

If it's the original EOS-M it is not supported and never will be.

Support for the M models starts with the more recent model, the EOS-M6 Mk II.

Please see camera support matrix in the page footer.
