Suggested pause time between exposures?

wrz0170

Question

I'm getting ready for my first real DSO shoot. Will be using an 80mm and Canon 550. I know you can set BYE to save to laptop so no need for me to worry about quality of the card.

Anyway, what would be a suggested pause time between frames with the 550? Thanks!

My suggestions is don't use it.  Instead take that time to take more images.  Introduce pause at a later time if and only if you feel you need it to let the sensor cool down a bit... but the effect will marginal so no pause is the way to go on most setup.
