Bye Not Seeing My Old 20D Camera

dstotz

Question

I downloaded 3.1.0 and 3.1.1  both get the same errors "camera not connected".  Using shoestring dsusb and serial cable. I tested using shoestrings test software and camera works fine. Also used stark-labs DSLR shutter with no problems. Attached are log files for 3.1.0 and 3.1.1.  I did try searching site for 20D issues but could not find any or did not use the proper search words. I am using a laptop running win vista 32 bit system. I suspect it might possibly be my antivirus software or .net framework.

Would appriciate any help, thanks in advance.

Don

Start by confirming that you can connect to your 20D by using the EOSUtility App that came with your Camera (or download the correct version for 20D from the Canon Support website).

BYE uses the same connectivity method as EOSUtility...
