Trouble recognizing Canon 5d Classic

Hello,

Does anyone know which driver to use in order to for Backyard EOS to recognize a Canon 5D classic.  Windows 7 Pro 32bit recognizes the camera but is not able to find or install the correct driver.

The low-level Windows XP driver for the 5D would likely be on the CD that came with the camera. That driver may work on 32-bit Windows 7. I could not find the driver on the Canon USA web site.

Get it to work with EOS Utility first, this will ensure you have all the Canon drivers installed.  Once this is achieved BYE should be able to connect.

Thanks for the input.  I don't have the original disc and it is proving difficult to fine one.  Will keep looking though....

You should be able to download it from usa.canon.com in their Support area.

They do have quite a few apps for the Canon 5d classic, but No EOS utility.  I tried EOS Capture 1.5 under the XP section but could not get it to run under Windows 7 32bit, even under compatibility mode.  Thanks for your input though!
