Question

I have the Canon EOS Ra .....I have downloaded the BYE 3.2.1 . The camera will connect to BYE and will operate normally  with the lens on it but not with the telescope adapter. The camera connects and looks normal with the T-Ring but the shutter will not release. I have also downloaded the latest version of Canon EOS Utility...same thing works with the lens but not T-Ring. I have disabled the bulb in camera and changed from B-M-TV with no luck........any suggestions??

I went back and examined the Ra manual and found that s3igell was correct. There is a Custom Function setting (Release shutter without lens) in the camera's menus that when enabled will let you shoot photos without a lens attached. This setting is not available to BYE to read or change, so you must make the change yourself.

Yes I have a card in the camera.....also when I use the lens the camera will take exposures with BYE an the Canon EOS Utility but not when I swap the lens for the T-Ring also the lens is in the manual mode.

Glad you got it to work.
