Landscape / Portrait

Question

BYeos v3.1.16  Canon 100 D

For some reason, when I transfer my BY images to another file for later processing, all images at greater than ISO 400 appear in "portrait" orientation.  ISO 400 or below came out as "landscape"

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks, George

Look at your Image Processing / Image Catalog Program - there is almost always a setting which controls "Auto-Rotation".

Realize that every DSLR has a Directional Sensor (determines if Camera is in Portrait or Landscape Orientation), and that data is recorded into the CR2 file data and into the EXIF data of both the CR2 and JPG versions of the Image.  It is the Display Program which decides whether to react to that Orientation data.
