downlaoded images from BYE to computer rotated...

I went out the other night and setup for 50  5minute exposures with BYE of Andromeda. Everything went great, but when I went into the BYE  library a lot of my images had been rotated from the original position.. What happened? Anyway to stop this in the future?

Raw images have not been rotated... what you see is a display only rotation.  

 

Keep in mind that your camera was designed to take daytime images, and these rotate when you rotate the camera for display convenience only.

 

The raw data is intact and this display only has 0 impact an your astro images.

Do you have "Auto rotate" set to Off in the camera's menu?

Do you have "Auto rotate" set to Off in the camera's menu?

Even a Camera's "Auto-Rotate" Feature will ONLY set a Flag in the EXIF Data.

This will serve to Rotate the Image in Image Browsers which honor that Flag.

There is No Change to the actual Image Data.

I agree, but the OP's details were somewhat sparse. All he said was that he "went into the BYE library" and that some of the images were rotated. He could have been looking at JPG images, captured by BYE, in a viewer program that automatically rotated some images and not others.
