Do not confuse the number of lines with the number of possible exposures.

You can have up 999 exposures per line, multiplied by 25 and you have up to 24,975 images in a single plan... not counting the loop feature... which is infinite.

Perhaps your use case as Rick suggested may help to understand your requirement.

This feature request might dovetail with a few others posted over the last year:

Eclipse 2017 Special Features - cases where the Imaging Conditions change significantly over the course of an Exposure Sequence

Time Lapse Support - Exposure Ramping would require significant number of Entries unless a Parametric Solution were provided

What would be the benefit to BYE/BYN to also have that capability?

The 2017 North American Total Eclipse will likely be the MOST WIDELY Viewed Astronomical Event of a Generation - and the First since the Advent of the Modern DSLR.

It seems a Natural for Guylain to consider any Minor Feature Additions - especially as a Product Differentiator - during a time when more Amateurs than ever will be looking for a Product to aid their Ambitions to Image the Event.
