BYEOS display has text and words cut off.

Question

So Im using the latest version of BYEOS and am new to this program. It seems very intuative but when I click on lets say focus tab, the area of the screen that explains stuff like FWHM is not scrollable.  As in I can only read text that is visible on the screen even though I can see more text below the 1st sentance.  This is the case in different areas of the application where you hover the mouse pointer over a tab or button and it explains what it does.  I cant read everything since it does not show it on my screen even though I can see the text continues on to another sentance.  Im using windows 8.1 on a Dell inspiron laptop about 1.5 yrs old.

Any ideas here?

Abraham

Make sure that you are using "small fonts" in the Display Control Panel.

What is the Screen Resolution of your Laptop ??

Yes, I need this information.  The UI is optimized for 1024x800 display using normal font size.

My screen resolution is at its highest 1366 x 768.  I have had some issues with the graphics card displaying things.  A warning appears in my screen resolution setting saying my resolution is below 1200x900 and that things may not display correctly. Any ideas?  Perhaps I should contact the graphics card maker and ask for updated drivers.

Reach out to your Laptop Manufacturer, their Support Forum, etc...

Find out if there are updated Video Drivers, or other approaches to increase the Resolution.

Unfortunately, for some of the less expensive / smaller form-factor Laptops / Notebooks / Ultrabooks, the manufacturers' Marketing Teams decided that Lower Resolutions were an appropriate trade-off against the targeted Price Point; and forced the Engineers to adopt LCD Panels which were originally designed for the less-demanding DVD Player market...
