AstroTortilla Integration

ifubiok

Question

Like a good boy, I read the manual (Pg 103), watched the YouTube video (Guylain Rochon will demonstrate BackyardEOS), installed AstroTortilla and got it working reliably, but when I open the "Advanced Mode" I only see ASTAP as an option. Is AT still supported? Is there a config file option to enable it?

The only configuration in BYE/BYN for AstroTortilla is to make sure that 3rd Party Integration is enabled on the Settings dialog (lower right portion of the panel). Then in AT choose the Backyard EOS camera; the same protocol works for BYN. AT needs to be set to the same port number as you are using in BYN.

I know that. I wrote my own version of AstroTortilla in C#. It works better than the Python code and has some different features. It works fine for what I need it for and uses the same cygwin under the covers.

My previous post was for the benefit of OP @ifubiok.

For Rick:  Have you considered attempting a "straight linux build" leveraging Astrometry.net code running on WSL2 rather than Cygwin??  (My coding skills are too atrophied...)
