EOS RP

Lunar66Man

Question

  Hello group

I have a laptop that has been with me in my travels of shooting the Moon, about 3 months it died, and i thought about a new laptop of a more portable tablet, so I purchased a Samsung S8+Ultra , now I want to download my BYE program but I have the newer Canon EOS RP camera, and Im wondering if BYE will support the newer cameras by Canon, secondly I have all my info on when I renewed my BYE how do I go about downloading it ?

Thanks for any help you can give

I replied to your similar post from yesterday.

1) Yes, BYE 3.2.2 supports the EOS RP camera.

2) Download BYE by scrolling to the bottom of this page and click on the Download button under BackyardEOS.

3) Your existing license key is available by choosing My Purchases -> Orders from the menu at the top of this page.

4) BYE requires Windows and the .NET Platform. It also requires a USB connection, since the Canon EOS SDK software library does not support pairing via WiFi.

I also noticed that this post and your post from yesterday were created from two  different accounts Lunar66 and Lunar66Man. Using two different accounts is highly discouraged since whatever license keys you have purchased are listed under only the account that was used to purchase them. This can be confusing for you and can lead you to think that O'Telescope has "lost" your license key.

Going forward you should only use one account...the account with your license keys.
