Help saving files

bluesdr44

Question

For some reason, my raw images are saving in different orientations.  Some will save horizontal, some vertical, and there is no pattern to it.  For example, I took 15 lights, the first 5 saved horizontal, the next 2 vertical, then 3 horizontal, then 1 vertical, then 1 horizontal, then 3 vertical.  Since they are CR2 images, Window, will not allow me to rotate them, and PixInsight wont stack due to the difference in orientation.

Any idea why this is happening, or a way to fix the files I already have saved, and get everything turned the same way.

Thanks,

Mike (Doc Blues)

Not sure, will have to check the camera settings, however, the images were all taken during the same session, so there was no camera rotation.  Some of the images are 1 to 2 minutes apart, and one saves a horizontal and the next one vertical.

Just downloaded the trial version of PI, so will have to try to load the individual images to see if I can rotate them and save.

Thanks for the ideas.

Mike
