Hi,

I just installed Backyard 3.1 premium, but I didin't find the "planetary jpeg only" setting in the advance settings panel.

Where it is?

Thanks

Francois

This is fixed and will be in 3.1.1.

I opted to remove the settings in "Settings" and "Advance Settings" for this in favor of adding a pulldown in the actual Planetary Mode window; less monkeying around like this.

Options are AVI+JPG, AVI, and JPG.  Default is AVI+JPG.

Thanks for reporting this.

Is the "Allow 10X" in Planetary no longer available? (Not that it was all that useful due to image softening.)

Yes it is, but you need a connected camera to see this option in Advance Settings now... come to think of it that was probably a bad decision  :(

If you have a connected camera, can you turn ON 10x zoom in Advance Settings?

Regards,

Don't know.  It'll have to wait until I get home and can hookup my T2i and check it out.  Any other items we can't see until connected?  (I agree. It's a bit confusing to only have it show up if connected.)

The 10x zoom was added back even when the camera is disconnected.  This will be in BYE 3.1.1.

No, as Guylain understood, I am talking in the "advance panel settings" about the "planet jpg only" during planetary recording; this is not in liveview!

It allows you to save only jpeg pictures during planetary recording (10 less memory size than with AVI container); then you can use jpeg's as you want (with something like PIPP to get AVI with cropping) or what you want...
