Frame and Focus

jrbaguley

Question

Hi There

For some reason my camera isn’t liking the frame and focus mode. When I select that option the camera sounds like it’s opening and closing the shutter and a message comes up on the cameras lcd screen reading ER 70. Then telling me to remove and insert the battery.

Has anyone had this issue before?

Any help is appreciated

p.s I am using the latest version of BYE, only installed on the weekend.

cheers

Saying that you are using "the latest" verson does not mean same the same thing to someone who is reading your post today as it does to someone who may read your post in 2 years. And even to day "the latest" could be 3.1.18 or 3.2.0 RC 11.

Please let us know both your camera model and the version number of BYE that you are using.

Also, the web site has a Search function and if you search "This Forum" for "Err 70". You will see that others have reported this issue for certain models of camera and that it is as yet unresolved.

In addition to specifying the BYN version number saying "your camera" is not helpful either.  Always specify the camera model, they all have their intricacies.

Err 70 is an internal camera error.  Usually when a model starts to display those errors they are very difficult to solve, there is not a lot of information out there for this error.
