Images not transfering to PC

JAHAZAN

Question

First off, I just want to say that I've been using Backyard EOS for years and it has worked great.  I love this software.

My problems came up when I upgraded my laptop.  I put in a brand new SSD, and did a clean install of windows 10.

Backyard EOS is connecting to my camera (stock Canon T3i aka 600D) via USB and is able to drive image captures, but for some reason the images aren't transferring to the computer.  I know there is a drop-down menu to select where the images are stored (camera only, PC only, or camera + PC) but changing setting this doesn't work.

Any help or suggestions are welcome.  I'm still kicking myself for not checking out all of my equipment before going out last night.

Thanks. Sorry to be a noob, I assume this is "in the camera" not within the software ?

Correct, you need to turn in off using the camera menu, not software.

For most models this is a custom function, so you may need to dig into that section of the camera menu to get to it.  They don't make it obvious.

Did you perform a camera factory setting reset?
