Hi Matt,

Oh boy, my supplier really messed things up for me.  Yesterday they apologized for the issue and said it could take several months to fix.  I was boiling inside and sent a calm message... not sure how I managed this.

Anyhow, they came back this morning and said they will be able to provide a fix for next week.  I'm still not happy with this but managing 1 week as opposed to months is somewhat better... but not good enough for my customers.

So, I'm currently working on a patch for both BYE and BYN as we speak and I hope to have a release for you guys later today.  

Stay tuned.

Yes, BYE 3.1.15 and BYN 2.0.8 should not give you an Internet connection error.  

Are you sure your have one of these releases?

Oh, and make sure your computer date is set to the actual calendar date... there is still some voodoo magic going on to validate the key :)

I've downloaded the Nikon fix and have 7 days left on the trial before I decide to purchase.  Since I've updated the software my Nikon D700 connects but get the following messages and disconnects.

17:32:24  Attempting to connect camera...
17:32:24  Nikon/D700 drivers initialized.

This camera worked before you had your issue.

Please start your own thread.  This has nothing with the server being off line.  Starting a new thread for a new issue will only help clear things up for you, me, and everyone else reading this in the future.

I imagine that he posted to this thread because you released version 2.0.8 to allow current trial users to use BYN with your licensing server being down. According to his report he only had this issue after he upgraded to 2.0.8, not with 2.0.7. That said, it would still be useful to have it in a new thread in the BYN forum.

Good progress on getting the licensing server back on line.

I'm was able to get it working again yesterday and did a lot of testing.  It seems fine.  I will do more testing this weekend and if all goes well it should come back online by Monday.

PURCHASE KEYS: Purchases keys were NOT affected by the licensing serving being off line. 

TRIAL KEYS: You need BYE 3.1.15 and BYN 2.0.8 to be able to use the application while the licensing is down.  Anyone who has a trial key and was not able to fully evaluate the software I will gladly give you a second 30-day trial once it come back on line so you can evaluate the software before purchasing.
