BYE versions numbers have 3 parts, as in 3.1.0, 3.1.9.  However, from your description you may be trying to use a version of BYE which pre-dates the release of your camera. You should upgraded to the latest release and choose the Canon (not Canon215 or Canon210) driver/SDK when you Connect BYE.

The most recent version is 3.1.14. It has the most-recent changes and can be found in the pre-release category page.

It is also possible that you are the first BYE user for that model of camera. In that case, you should publish the log data model information that is saved when the connection fails. Guylain can quickly incorporate this information into BYE. If you provide this information soon, it seems very likely that your camera would be supported by the final 3.1.14 release.

You are running an old version 3.1.4.

Please download the latest 3.1.13 (or better yet 3.1.14.RC1)

You should always download the latest before posting a camera connection issue.  Your camera was released AFTER version 3.1.4 and for this reason it is not working with that older version!

Regards,
