Can This Be Changed?

krphotogs

Question

This is really minor, but on BYN there is still several references to the Canon wording (e.g. TV). It comes on creating the file names of the photos as well as in the shutter speed selection (e.g. NULB, TV...). Sorry but every time I see I have to remember what it means - and I have enough problems just remembering the important stuff.

Again, not a big deal.

yes and no.

yes it can be changed because I control all wordings... but it is not a simple translation.  This is because BYE was developed with Canon DSLR in mind initially and the translation file is not aware of the actual camera model connected.  It would require significant work to have the translation files be camera brand aware :(

Not that is is not doable... just time consuming.

Kevin,

It may help to post your suggestions in the Feature Suggestion Box forum.

I would be specific as to where you are seeing the Canon references, as well.

Ooops... my apologies I did not know it was there....

No worries, thought it was a SMOP - but if a lot of work I can live with it.
