license problem no recognizable digits

Question

I purchased BackyardEOS today, downloaded it and when I key in the license key and my user name I receive an error message indicating that there are no recognizable digits.  I double checked the license key as well as my user name and the both match.  I am running windows 10, but wouldn't think that a problem would be related to windows at this early stage.  Can anyone help?

What are the last 5 digit of your license key?

 

DO NOT post your full key here, just the last 5 digit.  This will allow me to verify you are using the right key.

 

Also, make sure you are not using the code in your account creation verification email, a few people make that mistake.  Keys are not sent by email.  They are in your client area here on the website.

Also, this is the license key that is associated with the purchase on the website.

 

Yes, all license keys are in your account, click the " My Purchases " link in the upper right corner of this website, your keys are there.

 

That 11190 is the correct key.

 

Looks perhaps that your cut & paste is adding hidden characters that prevent proper cut&paste.

 

Tye typing in the key.  All letters in the key are lower case so it is easy to differentiate the letter ' i ' with the number ' 1 '.

 

Keep me posted please.  If all fail I will have the server generate another key for you.  But, I was able to test/activate your key here so it is valid.

It is correct, good.

 

You are using your key with 3.1.6, right?

 

I would like to do a remote session with you.  This issue is not the key, it has to be something else.

 

If you are okay with that I can so the remote session right now.  Send me an email at support@otelescope.com and we will take it from there.
