Download limitations

In regards to cepheus@42's question, it came to mind that with the ever changing landscape of PC's that require total system upgrades, just how many downloads(migrations) are available per license.

Having just recently upgraded from a Celeron System to a Quad Core system I can honestly say that the software installed perfectly, and once I secured the proper driver for my camera I was up and running very quickly.

Very good software, I welcome insight and comments...clear skies!

For trial keys you can activate them 3 times; meaning on up to 3 computers within the 30-day period.

 

For purchase keys you can use your current copy for life, you bought it, you own it.  There is a limit of 25 activations per keys, but this is just a safeguard.  If you reach that limit and our records show (from the activation server) that this number was reached organically and not through sharing (yes we can tell the difference) then we will simply increase that limit for you so you can continue to user your purchased software.  Again, you bought it, you own it.

Guylain, you've always kept the end users at the forefront of your thoughts.  It's hard to express the appreciation I have for you.

 

My how I wish other software vendors followed this paradigm.  Adobe Photoshop is the worst.  Even after forking up a small fortune for CS6, I am limited to only one machine.  And now they want to only go to a subscription service at $50.00/month for any upgrades!!!  I might be coerced into this extortion if it was required for my livelihood, but not for a hobby.  One of the several good reasons I've moved my processing over to PixInsight.  Like BYEOS, once you bought it, you bought it.  Very refreshing.

The subscription for Adobe Photoshop is $10.00/month. 

 

The cost is not very different from the version upgrades from CS3 to 4 to 5 to 6.

I may have been faulty at the subscription price. If so, I apologize. But the fact remains that I already own PS CS6-Extended.  At over $700 initial purchase cost, I should not have to go to an additional paid subscription to have it supported.  That is why I praise Guylain's decision to support his product properly with his user base in mad.  This is the only real reason I bought BYE Premium when Classic fit my needs just fine.  Guylain deserved the extra support.
