Backyard EOS Shows Extended Busy Followed by No Download to PC

My Canon 5D had been working successfully with BYE version 3.2.2 for some time now. Last night BYE showed an extended Busy signal period while taking an image followed by no download to the application and no download to the PC. I've included the latest log files for review.

Is your anti-virus software preventing the download?

It's always the small things that bit you in the butt.... I hate to admit how long I spent last night at the scope trying to fix this problem in the dark.

No problem, I am glad that you are back up and running.

I am having the same issue. ~80-100 images into a session it does the same thing as described above. Don't think it's antivirus but will get files in am.

Probably not your A/V software. If it was it would affect every image download.

Please provide more details about your setup and workflow.

• Which version of BYE?
• What camera model?
• What exposure parameters?
• Are the images stored to the PC only?
• Is it repeatable? What are the steps to cause it to occur?
• How are you powering the camera? battery or A/C?
• What type of telescope/mount are you using?
• Is the camera at prime focus?
• What error(s) do you see?

We are not looking over your shoulder and only know what you tell us, so please be specific.

Also review the Power Settings / USB Settings on your Laptop.  Many default to Power-down the USB Ports after specific Time or Battery Level...
