New Pc and connection problem!

Hi!

I had to install a new PC in the observatory, the old one is "dead".
I reinstalled everything including Eos utility and BYE Canon (I have a D550).
The Canon program works correctly, I see the camera, and I can shoot etc.
BYE however refuses to connect to EOS.
The previous PC (always with W10) never had any problems.

EOS utility is turned off when using BYE!

The only way for this to occur is that the SDK is return 0 cameras visible when calling EdsGetChildCount. This is odd since you say EOS Utility is connecting, BYE uses the same SDK as EOS Utility.

Can you confirm the camera is listed in Device Manager on that computer at the time of connect?

Did you reboot and did you try connection to BYE (without trying EOS Utility first) after a reboot?

Make Sure that EOS-Utility is not set to Automatically Load and Connect to Camera.  If EOS-Utility gets connected to the Camera, then BYE cannot.

Problem was in the Eos Utility driver.
Removed and reinstalled the driver and everything started working again.
