Your only likely challenges with using the Surface Go as a Scope-side Computer:

  • Minimum Storage Space on the Go means you'd have to leave the Images on the Camera or work to Download them in the Background to your Main PC/Laptop
  • Battery Life on the GO and the number of Battery-Saving Features/Settings that you will have to Un-Configure to keep the GO Running without losing WiFi or USB Connectivity
  • Dew on the Surface Go - which isn't designed for significant Exposure to the Elements (good thing you won't use the Go Screen on a regular basis - you can put it in a Rubbermaid Container with Cable and Air Holes)
