1100D and iso problem?

Krawler14

Question

So Im new to astrophotography, was told by numerous people to check out BYOS, so far I really enjoy this piece of software, your software is brilliant in both features and GUI.

I am having 1 issue however.. and im not sure if its a limitation of the trial, or my camera.  I recently used BYEOS to shoot Jupiter and M42.  during M42 I realized I couldn't change my ISO setting (in imaging mode, not planetary). it was locked on 1600 , or rather, this was the only option showing up in the drop down menu.  I hope that this isn't a limitation of my camera ( Rebel T3, 1100D) because on the camera itself (outside of EOS) I can change my ISO to several different settings.

any information on what im running into here would be much appreciated.

completely different topic here, but didn't want to make another thread. does BYEOS automatically turn off canons noise reduction options or no I need to find these in the camera and turn them off manually?

It is up to you to set/unset this feature using the camera menu.

BYE will respect the setting.

In previous posts, some people have reported that some dropdown lists are missing values that should be present.  Here is what fixed them:

Delete the cache folder in BackyardTEMP\cache and turn the camera on and make sure the camera is set to M on first start up after deleting the cache.
