Windows will not allow mw to download

Windows 10 will not allow me to download. I get a message that the download is known to have malicious malware to steal my information and it will not bring up the download page.

I just signed up and tried to download BYN trial version and I had the same problem. Attached is a screenshot, whole screen goes red with a message saying it has malicious content. When I click on the link to do it anyway, it just sits there. I am really looking forward to getting BYN up and running so please help ! Thanks

This is an EDGE browser issue and there is nothing I can do.

Use another browser and you will be fine.

The warning is likely just because the site is unknown to the browser.

You could simply ignore the warning and continue to the site to download the installer.

The error pops up when they click the download button, the site itself is accessible. 

This issue has been confirmed by the hosting provided yesterday when I reported the issue. They confirmed this is an MS Edge browser issue only. Any other browse will work

The Edge browser is built in with Windows 10 so many users may not want to install another browser just to circumvent this issue. The screenshot provided by the OP shows an option to "Continue to the unsafe site" which I assume would allow the download, even though it is against Microsoft's advice.

Personally, I abandoned the Edge browser because I had problems with it incorrectly rendering some mainstream web sites. I now use Firefox for everything.

I believe the issue is with the original Edge browser.  MS has since build the new Edge browser based on Chromium and this one should work I believe, but not the original Edge browser.

Ok so after reading the discussion I tried it with MS Internet Explorer, got a similar message. When I looked on google for IE, I found the solution though, this seems to work in either -

 

In Edge or IE, go to Settings --->Privacy, Search & Services. Near the bottom turn of the one for "Microsoft Defender Smart Screen". Then it will allow you to download the file. Then you can turn it right back on if you want.

I have run the installer and connected my camera and so far so good. Thanks !
