I have a feeling ExifTool is unable to find the file due to the characters in your the BackyardTEMP download folder.

Try this:

1) In Windows create a folder called "C:\BYE"

2) In Windows create a folder called "C:\BYE\BackyardEOS"

3) In Windows create a folder called "C:\BYE\BackyardTEMP"

4) Start BackyardEOS and go to Settings

5) Change the download folder to ""C:\BYE\BackyardEOS"

6) Change the BackyardTEMP folder to "C:\BYE\BackyardTEMP".

Let me know if this works.

Regards,
