Is it possible torenew  mytrial  key. We are in Monsoon Season here and I have only had a couple of chances to use Backyard EOS.  As the season ends, I will have better opportunities to try the software. Thank You Jerry

You can test many of the features of the software with a lens on the camera while connected to your PC from a short USB cable while at the kitchen table. That way you can avoid most of the issues that plague first time users (camera settings, cabling issues, Windows permissions issues, anti-virus interference, etc.) without wasting valuable post-monsoom weather. It will also allow you to ask questions on this forum while folks are actually awake.

You should also know that the Trial license needs to validated every time you start BYE, to ensure that the license is still valid.  This requires an active internet connection on your PC. Verifying that the software does work for you and your camera ahead of time will allow purchase a permanent license (Classic or Premium) so that you to travel to a dark site where there is no internet access and still use BYE.
