BYE BackgroundWorker Logs written to "Default" rather than Settings Directory

s3igell

Question

While chasing down the BackgroundWorker Logs to determine something related to my Camera2 usage, I've found the following:

The BackgroundWorker App is still writing its logfile-[date-time]-backgroundworker-[id]-date.txt file to the "BackyardTEMP\Logs" subdirectory of the "Download" Setting, rather than to the similar subdirectory of the "BackyardTEMP Folder" Setting (which is where the Foreground App - Camera1.exe/Camera2.exe - write their logfile Logs).

I've tested this by changing the Destination of each Setting separately (and Terminating both Foreground and Background Apps - confirmed via TaskManager) to New directory locations, and determine which Setting the Background Logs followed.

This is a specific issue in my case, as I sometimes run a configuration where the BackyardTEMP locations point to a Local Laptop HDD but the ultimate Download location is a RAID5 on a NAS (when at home) or an External HDD when at a Dark Site.

Attached is an example Setting snapshot, where the BackgroundWorker Logs are ending up in G:\Shared Documents\Shared Pictures\My Pictures\BackyardTEMP\Logs while the Foreground Logs are found in C:\Users\Shane\Pictures\BackyardTEMP\Camera2\Logs (or Camera1 - as the case may be).
