setup wont run

I downloaded v3.1.2 an the setup file was saved to "download" When I run the file nothing happens. Computer is a Toshiba laptop running w8. Any suggestions. I tried running as an administrator. It asked if I wanted to run from this supplier and I clicked yes. Again nothing occured.

Is your anti-virus software preventing the setup program from running?

 

Some AV software does not recognize BYE and prevents it from installing.  You may want to try installing BYE after temporarily disabling your AV software.

In addition to your anti-virus as a possible cause... Is your Windows up do date?
