Complicated

This is the most complicated upgrade of any software that I have ever purchased in my life.

I wanted to go from 3.0.03 to 3.1.2

What a tormented route to get there with passwords changing, site moving, having to 'purchase' again and submit a discount code etc

Got there eventually on my main PC but dare not try again to put it on my laptop that I actually use to capture images.

I am now not sure what my password is, what my user name is or any of the other codes that I need to copy and paste.

Best leave it alone, if it isn't bust don't fix it....................

Having said that BYE has revolutionised the way I capture images, but what a pain in the bum to install next version.

I think that I will just stick with my old version on my laptop, it is working.

I'm sorry you feel that way... but upgrading is not mandatory, it is optional.

 

The move was in response (partly) to years of people complaining about lost keys and combating software piracy is not easy... and that meant new keys had to be re-issued with 3.1 and the new software activation server.

 

It really is not that complicated at all.

 

TO UPGRADE:

 

Go to the store and add your product (classic or premium) in your cart.

 

 

 

At checkout time enter your coupon.

 

 

 

TO ACCESS YOUR KEY AT A LATER TIME:

 

 

I understand that some are finding this process painful.  However, free upgrades is a privilege that not too many vendors are offering in this day in age.  It is not mandatory and I do it out of my free will.

On the Laptop, all you need to do is Install the BYE v3.1.2 App.  And then Start it...  When it asks for your License Code, paste the one you get from your Copy on your Desktop PC "About" popup (click the "i" on the upper right of the Main Window Frame) then click "Edit License"...
