The BYE Supported Cameras page on this site also lists Hap Griffin as making a compatible cable.

Please note that most supported Canon EOS camera models do not need a serial cable for BULB exposure control. Only the very old DIGIC II cameras need a serial cable for shutter control. In addition, those old camera models do not have LiveView and most require a 32-bit version of Windows and a Canon-supplied kernel level driver. That driver is not guaranteed to work with Windows 7 or later.

It may be easier to find a used DIGIC IV camera that has LiveView, a Windows-included driver, and does BULB exposures over the USB cable.

Hi...it's a Canon digital Rebel XT. Sorry... I should have been more specific... I'm looking to use the APT tool for exposures and need to use bulb over 30 seconds. ... Thanks, Steve
