BYN v2.1.2 Premium and Live View

PJSonn

Question

When running a capture sequence, I get a lovely image and filmstrip in the image area, but I am not seeing Live View via frame and focus, planetary, or drift align modes.  Even with a full daylight image on the camera's live view, I see nothing on the laptop running BYN.  Camera firmware 1.20.

In all these modes, I get a repeating "Parameter is not valid" log message 6 or 7 times a second.  Camera is in Manual mode.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

PJS

I thought I included that. Oops.

Nikon Z6II, running firmware 1.20. Live view indeed appears on the camera LCD screen with no issues (and sadly, on the computer when I use APT, a program I am attempting to shift away from).

oh, the Z6II.  I tried to make it work a while back and it looks like Nikon changed how live view is activated on the model... the Z6 I was able to make work blindly; but not the Z6II

For the z6II, I would need that model for a day or two to make it work.
