You have told us nothing about your setup. Not your camera model, not the version of BYE. We need more to go on!

If you are using Avast Anti-Virus software you need to try temporarily disabling it or white-listing BYE. It can block images from downloading, but should not affect images stored only to the camera's SD card.

Also, you need to be sure that, if you are using a lens, that it is not taking a picture because it is trying to focus the image. Are you using an autofocus lens?

Are you on the Frame & Focus screen or on the Imaging screen.
