Trouble with "Shutter" speed using 3.2.1

Dirty Harris

Question

Dear Guylain, I browsed the forum for recent problems like this but couldn't find anything specific, so I'll ask for help here. We recently updated from BYE Canon 3.1.17 to the latest release 3.2.1 version. All went well, download, verification, etc. The program is up and running desk top icon and all. However when I click on the "shutter" tab in either imaging or planetary mode, instead of getting the usual extensive menu to select from, there are only  4 selections, "BULB" "PROGRAM"  "AV" and "6" none of which makes any difference? Now we are not hooked up to a telescope at this time, just using the standard photo lens that the camera was born with. Don't know if that could have an affect, however when I switched back over to BYE 3.1.17 version, all is A-OK, when "Shutter" tab is selected, a very generous selection of shutter speeds are displayed. Here's a run down of equipment in use.  Canon Rebel T-3 (1100D), H/P 15'' Laptop, Short 3ft USB cable with no USB hub. I tried both A/F (auto focus & manual focus) no change. These snags are usually attributed to operator error, and is probably the case here, I just don't know which error I committed? Thanks & regards, Duane H.
