Please, when you create a post, always identify the full version of BYE, along with the camera model, that you are using, not the license, but the version number that is displayed in the title bar of the program. That is like "BackyardEOS 3.2.1 - RC3".

Is your BYE window large enough to acommodate the thumbnails? Is space reserved below the large image area for the thumbnail strip?

Is the image displayed in the large image area?

Can you provide a screenshot of the full BYE window after an image was taken and displayed?

Yes sorry will do is this correct? I’m using backyardEOS 3.2.1 classic edition (500D-T1i) No the images don’t appear in the large screen either I’m trying to attach a picture of the screen but it keeps saying it’s too big

If you are sure that you are saving images to the PC, then the most likely reason why they are not being displayed in the main window either in the large image area or the thumbnail strip is that your Anti-virus software is preventing them from being downloaded. This is especially true if you are using Avast as your A/V app. 

Try disabling the A/V software and see if you are now seeing the images. You may need to figure out how to whitelist BYE in Avast, so it won't interfere.
