When I go through the drop down list of cameras to connect in AT, I don't see anything for BYN, I see BYEOS and others. How do I asign BYN as the camera ?

As per the instructions in the how-to section you can use BackyardEOS in AT as a camera control program.

 

I made 100% sure not to change the communication protocol in BYN so AT could work as-is

All the Documentation for BYE-AT Integration should now be read as "BYE/BYN-AT Integration".

 

The Shutter Trigger Mechanism is the same, so is the reading of the resulting JPG and the setting of a usable High-ISO.

The rest of the Image interpretation, plate-solving, and slewing performed by AT after the completion of the Exposure is the same as for all other AT Implementations.

 

But, it's unlikely that the AT Dev Team will be making any such change to their Pull-down Labels or Documentation - that Dev Team is only active intermittently.

(Such a contrast to Guylain...!!...)
