Settings question

I'm new to BYE having just downloaded the Premium version. I've changed a couple items in 'settings' but when I close the program and re-open it, they revert to the defaults. I've tried clicking 'apply' only, 'save' only and both, then closing and re-opening BYE.  Nothing works.

How do I get my changes to 'settings' to be permanent and not revert to the defaults every time I close then re-open the program?

If you are running BYE 3.1.18, then please upgrade to 3.2.0.

The problem that you are having (not saving settings) is related to an installer issue with 3.1.18. The authors made a change with 3.2.0. If you are already on 3.2.0, then please let them know that the issue still exists.

Re-installing usually fixes it. If re-installing does not fix your issue, then remove BYE and re-install it into a different folder.

This is odd with 3.2.x.

Do you get an error message?

Let us know if the error persists after a re-install.

thanks for the responses. no error message.

 if i uninstall how do i reinstall? all i've seen on the website is the option to buy, which of course, i've already done. i've seen no option to 'install'.

Well, if it's on your computer you did download it and installed it already.  Just run the installer again, if you already be in your browser download folder.

Alternatively you can download again from the website download section and install again.

i just ran the installer from my download folder, to a new folder. it didn't work.

i just reinstalled for the second time, changed some settings, then re-started my laptop.

it worked!
