Eclipse Framing

Hi,  I was trying out the eclipse framing function today on the BYE program and ran into a problem. I clicked the image button, opened up one of my images from my last session, and it came up with a dark screen. I played with the opacity slider to no avail. I even tried opening up a normal daylight photo, and it wouldn't display either. What am I doing wrong?

Which filetype were you loading ??  CR2, JPG, TIF ??

 

Also, was this immediately after Opening BYE ??  And/or had you also just connected to the Camera ??

 

I posted a similar odd occurrence that I had, where I couldn't successfully load an Eclipse Framing Image until I'd first snapped an Image via the Camera during the Current Session.

 

Try it again, but make sure that you take a fresh Image first (even if it is a throw-away)...

Yes, you are correct! I had just opened the program, and connected the camera without taking a photo yet. I'll try out your suggestion of taking a photo first.

What version are you using? This feature has been renamed to "Mask Framing" over a year ago.
