Backyard EOS 3.2 Beta Version --- EOS SLR3 Issues & Error #70

dwebb100

Question

The new 3.2 Beta version of Canon vs. Backyard EOS unfortunately connects well with the SLR 3 Digic 8 Processor but unfortunately results in Error #70 on the back touch screen when switching to Frame & Shoot Mode or when selecting Dithering.    I'm hoping that the 3.2 Beta is more of a work in process for this Camera version.

Additionally,  I tried to connect to the 3.1 Release and noticed that many of the features fail to function properly...such as turning off night mode and frame & shoot mode.  Any guidance on when version 3.2 will be released and fully functional with the latest 1.02 Firmware update for Canon Rebel SLR3 would be helpful.

BYE doesn't care about the camera's firmware version. However, it is possible that a firmware update could require a newer version of the SDK. It is also possible that the Err 70 could be caused by a bug in the new firmware.

When BYE 3.2.0 is released, it will undoubtedly be released with the latest North American version of the Canon EOS SDK. This should help provide maximum compatibility with the newest camera firmware versions.
