Version upgrade policy

About to purchase premium BYE having been using a trial for the past month. But I need (or most certainly want) some of the new 3.2 features. When this eventually is fully released are we able to say I'll be entitled to download and use the upgraded version for free? Maybe I'm being overly cautious but the upgrade information only refers to 3.1.*.

I have never changed anything for upgrades since inception 11 years ago.  I'd say you are safe for 3.1.x to 3.2

Interesting question...I don't see the usual "Check for Updates" button anywhere in BYE . How would we Update the Software from 3.1.18 to any future version ?

If you want to be notified you need to subscribe/follow the changes on the download page.

Scott,

A licensed copy of BYE or BYN is designed to operate fully without an Internet connection. Having a Check For Updates button would break that design. Allowing you to "follow" the release of new updates via Guylain's steps above is an excellent compromise.

Hello Astroman133 and thanks for the explanation . As you can tell , I'm "new around these parts" . LOL . Lots to learn .
