Plan only does a single exposure

This evening I connected my D610. Then I started BYN. I edited the image plan to take 48 Bias frames and Saved. I clicked Start and BYN dutifully captured 48 Bias frames (saving to PC, incidentally).

 

I edited the imaging parameters to capture 24 DARK frames, 300 seconds each and Saved that Plan. However, when the plan executes, only a single exposure is captured.

 

I restarted my laptop and loaded the plan again. Still BYN will only capture a single exposure before 'finishing'. I can only capture one frame at a time.

 

I have noticed this behavior before and I'm relegated to attending my imaging session to press the button.

What might I be doing wrong here?

I'm having the same issue with the Canon backyard EOS. 

It goes through the whole plan taking exposures then only downloads the last exposure. I ended up just doing single captures at a time so I wouldn't lose anything. 

Can backyardEOS be configured to keep copies of the exposures on the cameras card too?

That is not the log file.

 

Please go to "My Pictures\BackyardTEMP\Logs" and send me the log files corresponding to the night you had issues.

 

EDIT: What is the info below?  You reported an issue with a Nikon D610 and the info below is from a Canon 60D using BackyardEOS, not even BackyardNIKON.  I'm confused?

I believe that 2 users, one with Canon 70D and one with a D610 are reporting similar, not exact errors.

 

The Canon user (no BYE version reported) is saying that only the last image of the capture plan is shown.

 

The Nikon user (no BYN version reported) is saying that his imaging plan terminates with only the first image available.

 

Another case of thread hijack...The BYE report does not belong on the BYN beta thread.

 

Both users should report which version of the software they are using.

I'm the OP. I have the D610 and BYN Beta 02f. I mailed my log file to the email address you cited above. If you did not get I can send again.

 

Not sure why the BYE user is 'in here' reporting issues.

This is the same issue as the D800 and other high end models.

 

I have rented a D800 for the weekend of October 24th.  I'll try/must fix it then before I return the camera on the following Monday.

When I do a plan of short exposures, like for BIAS or FLATS everything works fine. When I do long exposures (in my case 300 seconds) that is when only one exposure in the plan is captured.

Yes, the issue is only for BULB images.
