<scopera> and <scopedec>

dts350z

Question

While setting up preferences for RC05 I noticed these file stamp options.

To get those to populate I just need to connect to my scope via ASCOM?

Those will be accurate even with dithering?

And, can I put them both in one "Name Item Number" (since I've already used 9) like this:

<scopera>scopera_<scopedec>scopedec_  ?

Oh, I see now the Filename Template editor says I can do that. Duh...

Thanks

There is text at the top of the editor that tells you you CAN put two on a line.

Putting two on a line is working, except the descripters are not where I put them. I put <parm1>descripter1_<param2>descripter2_ and I got:

descripter1_descripter2_<param1><param2>.

Look at the file name in the larger shot.

I'll check that.

Those have been there for at least 1 year now, there were in 3.0.x.

Yes, these are the actual RA/DEC coordinates when the image was downloaded, before dithering, so they are the actual coordinate reported by the ASCOM Telescope driver as of the end of the exposure.
