so it does see the camera and in windows I can access it here is a copy and paste of the log report

17:51:53  Licensed to TIm
17:51:58  Attempting to connect camera...
17:51:58  Canon drivers 'Canon210\' initialized.
17:51:58  DEVICEINFO DESCRIPTION IS Canon EOS 6D
17:51:58  DEVICEINFO NUMBER IS 3470492101.
17:51:58  YOUR *REAL* MODEL NUMBER IS 4294967294(FFFFFFFE)
17:51:58  Generic model 153 assumed!

That is because you selected the drivers for OLDER models in BYE.  You need to select the option to the right for the 6D, not the left one :)

Hi,

I got the same error as above.

I explain: if i connect Canon 6D, it works.

If i connect Canon 1200D, it does not work.

Of course i do the same configuration for both model, same usb cable and so on...

Why Canon 1200D is not recognized?

thanks

Well, if truth be told...

You have BYE running in Win8 on an intel i5 CPU on a Foxconn Motherboard in a Laptop Case which happens to have an illuminated image of a partially eaten Apple on the cover.  [cool]

The Parallels VM provides everything including a UEFI BIOS stored in RAM.  Oh, and a translation layer below that BIOS which points to the Apple Co. BIOS...

But, hey...  It's good to have you up and running the best AP Imaging Session Management Software available for DSLRs !!

(OK, turning off my anti-Apple mode now...)
