BYE 3.1.18-RC1 Not Saving Settings

This build isn't saving settings.  Any setting...

OK - I just uninstalled BYE and deleted all directories, cache files and anything else I could find.  Its working now.  Not sure what was going on...

I did install AstroTortilla earlier today and linked it into BYE.  Did that cause the problem?

Let me guess...you are running Windows 10.

Please install it to a different directory. This seems to fix issues where Windows prevents settings from being saved.

No - Win7 Pro x86.  I can uninstall and delete all data if you like and reinstall.  Let me know.

This is usually caused by a Windows update messing up some privileges in the user AppData hidden directory.  Incidentally, this is also where Microsoft stores user specific application data and that includes BYE... so when this folder gets messed up by a windows update BYE is no longer able to save its settings.  

Hope this sheds some light on the reason why this is happening in the first place.
