New download won't take registration key

One of Windows 10's marvelous updates killed my observing laptop (HP 15-bsxxx series) forcing me to do  a full wipe and reinstall. When I download the trial version of BYN and try to apply the registration key, the key will not register. It reports that I cannot use the trial as an update with my full price key. Any ideas?

You're post is confusing.  What are your trying to do?  Do you have a trial or purchase key?

If you have purchased a BYN license then you need to apply your purchased license key in BYN's license validation dialog. If you previously purchased a BYN Classic or Premium key but do not see it listed under your My Purchases area then it is most likely because you used a different account to make the purchase. If you log on to that account you should see the purchased key.
