few beginner questions

Hi,

Finaly got started wih BY EOS but i had bought and installed the key on my desktop PC in my home

But right now i have installed and it on my desktop PC in mijn Starshack but i see that behind my key there is a /2 do i need to transfer the license i an way or how does this work

Ik made my first capture with my 800d but in de downloadfolder there are only CR2 files no JPG in the setting is set to both

No need to transfer... it's all automatic.  Just reinstall and use the same key.

The /# is informational only and is set by the activation server ~ this is not something you should worry about; it's part of the activation server algorithm.

If you want the JPG as well as the CR2 you can go to Settings and set your image quality to "RAW+JPG".  But remember to use the CR2 when stacking since those are your raw image files whereas the JPG have been processed by the camera firmware already and are not suitable/ideal for astronomy.  Hope this makes sense.

If you have the Quality Setting set to RAW+JPG and you still do not see a JPG file in your download folder, then perhaps your anti-virus software is blocking the JPG file.
