Sorry, but I don't understand your reference to "toggle". What do you mean?

If you are talking about the BYE's ASCOM Telescope control, it is possible that it may not work with your mount. I believe that the BYE virtual elescope hand pad requires support of MoveAxis calls to the driver. If the LX200 driver does not support MoveAxis then the BYE telescope hand pad will not move the telescope.

I downloaded the ASCOM driver (Meade LX200 Classic and Autostar #494, #495, and #497, version 5.0.4) from the ASCOM site. It comes with the Visual Basic source code. It confirms my assumption that the driver does not support the MoveAxis calls that BYE uses to jog the scope. The code has a comment that the functionality is not provided due to poor precision in the underlying protocol.

Often I collect photons from a given object over the course of several nights. So quickly getting back to the exact same pointing position is important. I use AstroTortilla to do this. It can also help with initially centering your target. Of course other plate solving applications will work for this, as well, but AT integrates well with BYE.

Sorry!
